Soothing Oatmeal Bath Salts

Soothing Oatmeal Bath Salt

2 cups of epsom salt
1 cup of sea salt
1 ½ cups of finely pulverized oatmeal

1.       Measure out the salts and mix them together well, making sure to break up any clumps. Grind the oatmeal finely in a food processor or spice grinder. You want it about the consistency of sugar or salt. Add it to the salts and mix well. Scoop the salts into jars or other air-tight containers.

2.     Add the oatmeal-salts to briskly running water and enjoy a soothing soak.

Bath Salts

Bath Salts

2 cups kosher salt
2 cups baking soda
4 tablespoons of liquid glycerin

Combine all of the above ingredients and stir well. The liquid in this recipe might contribute to clumps forming, so simply break apart with the help of a fork. Store in jar. Use a handful or two in bath.

~~I am going to make this with 1 cup Epsom salt in place of 1 cup kosher salt~~
