Egg White & Lemon Face Pack {Mask}

1 Egg white
2 Tbsp.  Lemon juice
Few drops of honey

Combine and whisk into a frothy mixture. Apply to clean face and neck. Allow to dry for ½ hour. Rinse with tepid water. Tone and moisturize.

Lemon juice removes dark spots, dead cells, and excess oil. Egg whites firm skin. Honey replenishes lost moisture.

Egg White & Honey Mask

1 egg white
1 Tbsp. Honey

Beat egg white and then mix in honey. Mix well and apply to clean face and neck for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Tone, moisturize.

Egg white is a natural face lifter. This mask lifts, tones, hydrates, and rejuvenates.

Honey Pore Strips/Peel Off Mask

1 Tbsp.  Honey
1 Tbsp. Milk

Place honey & milk in a bowl, combine well. Microwave until it becomes a thick, sticky mixture. Let cool down and apply to areas affected by blackheads. Allow to dry for 25 minutes. Gently peel off.

**WARNING: It can become painful to peel off if used on peach fuzz, eyebrows, hairline. **

Honey & Olive Oil Mask

2 Tbsp.  Honey
2 Tbsp. Olive oil

Heat honey in microwave for 10 seconds. Stir in olive oil completely. Apply to clean face. Let dry for 20 minutes. Wash off with tepid water. Tone. Moisturize.

Body & Hair Oil Mist

Olive oil
Water

Combine equal parts in a spray bottle. Shake well. Ready to use!! Use on dry areas of skin, or on damp hair to add softness and shine. Use as needed.

I love this stuff!! I use on my skin and hair.

Lizard- Leg Spray

1 cup distilled water
3 Tbsp. Olive oil
½ tsp.  Vitamin E oil

Combine all ingredients well in a spray bottle. Done!! Use as needed.

Moisturizing Mist

1 cup distilled water
2 Tbsp. Glycerin

Combine in spray bottle. Shake well. Ready to use on face/body.
Can use to set makeup too!

Cooling Cucumber Mist

Good for sunburn, dry skin, even hot flashes!

1 cucumber, peeled
½ tsp. Lemon juice
1 tsp. Aloe vera gel
½ cup rosewater

Pureé cucumber until smooth. Strain and squeeze out juice. Add all other ingredients. Combine well. Store in spray bottle. Use as needed!!

Herbal Face Mist

2 cups distilled water
2 Tbsp. Aloe vera gel
Fresh or dried peel of 1 orange
Fresh or dried peel of 1 lemon
Fresh or dried petals of 1 rose
½ tsp. Vitamin E oil

Boil water- add peels and rose petals. Let set overnight. Strain well and add aloe and Vitamin E oil. Combine well. Store in spray bottle. Ready to use. Mist on face as needed.

Sea Spray Face Mist

1 cup Distilled water, heat to almost boiling
1 Tbsp. Sea Salt
Pinch Epsom salt

Combine well and completely dissolve salts. Store in spray bottle. Mist on face as needed.

Vitamin C Serum

1 tsp. Vitamin C powder {L-Ascorbic Acid}
1 tsp. Distilled water
1 tsp.glycerin

Dissolve Vitamin C in water, mashing down all clumps to make a smooth liquid solution.  Dissolve completely, you do not want a grainy serum. Add glycerin and combine well.
Serum is ready to use. Use within 1 week because Vitamin C is very unstable and breaks down quickly. Thusfore, serum loses it's properties after a week. Store in dark place, as light causes the Vitamin C to break down as well.

Honey, Cinnamon, & Nutmeg Mask

A.K.A. The Burning Mask

Brightens, clears breakouts, evens skin tone.

2 tsp. Honey
½ tsp. Cinnamon
½ tsp. Nutmeg

Combine to form thick paste and apply to clean face. Let dry for 15 minutes.  Rinse with warm water in circular motions. Tone. Moisturize.

I love this mask!!

Caffeine Eye Serum

Uses cold infusion, so this takes a few days to make.

Add ½ cup ground coffee to a jar, cover with just enough sweet almond oil to cover grounds. Close jar tightly and place in dark place like a cupboard for 4-5 days.
Strain oil in cheesecloth squeezing as much oil out as you can. Add 1 tsp. Aloe vera gel and ½ tsp. Vitamin E oil. Stir well and pour into bottle.
Use under and around eyes at morning and night.

** use leftover oily grounds as a body scrub for tightening skin and to reduce cellulite.**

Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Mask

      { Paprika Mask}

WARNING: Do only at night before bed. Do Not do this and then go directly into sun. Also, you may want to do a patch test for this one!

3½ tsp. Paprika
2 tsp. Coconut or olive oil

Combine to make a thick paste. Add more paprika if too runny.
Spread over clean face. Let dry 15 minutes. Use warm water and scrub off in circular motions. Tone and moisturize.

Aloe Rose Skin Soother

1 part aloe vera gel
1 part tightly packed, fresh rose petals

Place ingredients in mini food processor. Blend together throughly. Mixture will be frothy. After blending, strain mixture through a mesh sieve or something similar. Squeeze and press to get out all of the rose essence.
Store in refrigerator.  Keeps up to 2 weeks. For longer storage,  freeze gel in ice cube trays. Store cubes in freezer for future use.

Chocolate Body Scrub

6 Tbsp. Cocoa
2 cups honey
2 cups sea salt or sugar
½ cup olive oil

Combine honey and olive oil in a bowl. Mix well. Stir in cocoa and salt/sugar. Mix well; mixture should be thick. Apply scrub using circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry. Moisturize.

Coffee Face Mask

I love this one!

Brewed coffee
Honey

Combine in equal amounts. Apply to clean face. Let set for 10-15 minutes. Remove with damp washcloth. Tone and moisturize.

Turmeric Face Mask

For glowing skin and dark circles..
1 tsp. Turmeric
1 tsp. Honey
1 tsp. Milk

Combine to make a firm paste. Apply to clean face **Put hair up** Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse with tepid water. Pat dry. Tone and moisturize.

About Turmeric

Fights acne, hyperpigmentation, and blackheads.
Enhances elasticity of skin.
Deeply hydrates, heals, and revitalizesskin.
Helps reduce irritation,  dryness, and blemish marks.

Add a pinch to face cleanser.
Add a pinch to moisturizer.

Coconut Beauty Cream

½ cup solid coconut oil
1½ tsp. Olive oil
1½ tsp. Glycerin
½ tsp. Vitamin E oil

Beat all ingredients in a bowl with electric mixer for 5-7 minutes, until a whipped texture is reached. It's now ready to use!!

** Can be used as a leave in conditioner and split end smoother for hair.**

Honey Face Wash

⅓ cup Baby wash
⅓ cup honey
3 Tbsp. Boiled or distilled water
2 Tbsp. Olive oil

In soap dispenser, add water first, then Baby wash, honey, finally olive oil. Shake until honey is fully dissolved. Face wash is ready to use!!
Shake every few days between uses.

Chocolate Milk Bath

1 cup powdered milk
2 Tbsp. Cocoa
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch

Combine ingredients. Add ½ cup to bath water. Store in airtight container.

Simple Rice Water

Organic rice
Water

Pour some rice into a small bowl. Cover rice with 1 inch of water. Mix rice in water for about 30 seconds to clean it. Dump this water.
Cover rice with 1 inch of water again.  Mix and let stand at least 20 minutes. Pour the milky rice water in container.
**Keep refrigerated unless using. Good for 1 week.**
Use after cleansing face as a toner! I use this and I love it!!
Can use as hair mask: After shampooing hair, dip hair into rice water. Let soak into hair for a few minutes. Rinse with cool water and condition. This is a good protein sealer for weak, dull, and broken hair shafts.

Cucumber Eye Gel

4 oz. Aloe vera gel
½ large cucumber,  washed, peeled, and cubed

Blend cucumber until liquefied. Strain. Place aloe vera in a bowl and add 2 Tbsp. Cucumber juice. Whisk well and pour into bottle. Shake gently and chill 1 hour before using.
Apply under and around eyes at bedtime.

**Keeps 3 months refrigerated. **

This can also double as  an all over cooling face mask, which is excellent for summer skin especially from too much sun.
Just apply thick layer to face . Let dry completely. Rinse off. Tone, moisturize.

Aloe Vera Firming Eye Mask

1 tsp. Coconut oil
1 tsp. Aloe vera gel
½ tsp. Vitamin E oil

Mix all ingredients well. Place in container and place in freezer to chill.
Apply thin layer under eyes. Leave on 30 minutes or overnight. Rinse and apply eye cream.

Easy Anti-Age Eye Cream

¼ cup Coconut oil
1 tsp. Vitamin E oil

Carefully melt coconut oil and blend in Vitamin E oil. Pour into containers.

I make smaller batches of this, as it lasts forever!!

** Can be used as an eye makeup remover!!**

Anti-Age Face Cream

¼ cup coconut oil
5 Tbsp. Cocoa Butter
2 Tbsp. Olive oil
½  Tbsp. Vitamin E oil, opt.

Very carefully melt coconut oil. Add all ingredients to small pan and heat over low heat until cocoa butter is dissolved /melted. Remove from heat, let cool a little. Pour into containers and seal tightly. Shake vigorously. Let rest and shake again. Let cool and solidify.
Apply to face morning and night.
**Don't forget sunscreen during the day!**

Mint Sugar Scrub

½ cup Coconut oil, softened
2 cups sugar
1 Tbsp. Peppermint extract
1 drop green food color, opt.

Combine ingredients well. If too moist, add more sugar. If too dry, add a bit more oil.
Apply in gentle, circular motions over skin. Rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry. Moisturize!
** Great as a cooling scrub during summer!!**

Body Butter

6 Tbsp. Coconut oil
¼ cup Cocoa Butter
1 Tbsp. Vitamin E oil

Melt coconut oil & Cocoa butter over very low heat. DO NOT OVERHEAT as this destroys the oils useful properties.  Add vitamin E oil. Stir; let cool. Use as needed.

Rose Sugar Scrub

1½ cups sugar
¼ cup olive oil
12 rose petals

In a food processor, layer sugar, next the rose petals, then the olive oil. Pulse until rose petals are ground and ingredients are combined.
Apply in gentle, circular motions on skin. Rinse with warm/tepid water. Pat skin dry, apply moisturizer for your skin type.

Lip Scrub

1 Tbsp. Honey
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Olive oil
1 tsp. Vaseline opt.
Pink food color opt.

Combine very well. Store in airtight container.
Apply small amount to lips and gently scrub. Rinse & apply lip balm.

** May add a pince of cinnamon to the mix, it's good for the skin + it plumps the lips!! **

Makeup Setting Spray

1 Tbsp. Glycerin
1 Tbsp. Witch Hazel
4 Tbsp. Distilled water

Combine all ingredients. Pour into sspray bottle. Shake well, use after applying makeup to make it last!
** If too sticky add 1 Tbsp. alcohol to the mix.
Shake well before each use.

Dead Skin Remover {Feet}

1 cup Listerine
1cup white vinegar
2 cups very warm water

Combine all ingredients in large pan or bowl. Soak feet 10 minutes. Dead skin rubs right off!
