Simple Rice Water

Organic rice
Water

Pour some rice into a small bowl. Cover rice with 1 inch of water. Mix rice in water for about 30 seconds to clean it. Dump this water.
Cover rice with 1 inch of water again.  Mix and let stand at least 20 minutes. Pour the milky rice water in container.
**Keep refrigerated unless using. Good for 1 week.**
Use after cleansing face as a toner! I use this and I love it!!
Can use as hair mask: After shampooing hair, dip hair into rice water. Let soak into hair for a few minutes. Rinse with cool water and condition. This is a good protein sealer for weak, dull, and broken hair shafts.

           °°°°Benefits of Rice Water°°°°

1) Brightens complexion
2) Tightens pores
3) Strengthens hair shaft
4) Makes hair smooth and shiny
5) Softens skin
6) Regenerates cell growth
7)Prevents hyper-pigmentation (Age spots)
8) High in antioxidants
9) Skin protecting properties

Reason enough to make!!

Coconut Oil Hot Oil/Deep Conditioner

Coconut Hot Oil/Deep Conditioner

Coconut Oil

Massage warmed coconut oil to your scalp and hair. Wait 15 minutes, then rinse. You don't need to use conditioner after shampooing.
** Dont use coconut oil as hair treatment during cool months as it makes hair dull. Or use 30% coconut oil to 70% other oil. I like olive oil.**

Banana Milkshake Hair Mask

Banana Milkshake Hair Mask

3 bananas (2 if your hair isn't super-long)
Coconut milk (or whole milk)
Honey (you can skip if you don't have--it just adds moisturizing properties)
Mash bananas well with a fork or blender (no chunks!!). Drizzle in coconut milk (or milk) until the consistency is similar to your typical store-bought conditioner. Add honey if using. Apply your banana-coconut mix to dry hair in the shower or over the sink. Use enough to saturate your scalp and hair, then put on a shower cap or towel and chill for 20 minutes. Wash hair as usual.
