Salicylic Mask (Acid Peel)

Aspirin Mask

6-12 Uncoated Aspirins

Lemon juice (very small amount)

Baking Soda

Water

Mash the aspirins into a powder; mix with a small amount of lemon juice to make a paste. Apply to face: let set for 10 minutes. To remove: Take about a half teaspoon baking soda and mix in ¼ - ½ cup water-use this solution to remove mask. The baking soda neutralizes the mask.

This mask brightens the complexion, helps reduce/fade dark spots, and is very good for acne.

I use weekly and it does itch as it dries, but the results are amazing! Follow with a moisturizer.
